HOMES
HOMES provides individuals and families in McLeod County temporary emergency shelter so that they have the stability to work with a self-sufficiency case manager from United Community Action Partnership (UCAP) to pursue the building blocks for long-term stability. HOMES helps an average of 30 individuals/families a year in the community. 85% of those helped by HOMES in 2021 exited their motel room into a place to live or a treatment facility after an average of 26 days. 6 Degree Initiative: Immeasurably More Campaign
The 6 Degree Initiative is a church planting movement focusing on the unreached people groups just north of the equator in West Africa. They’re asking God for 90,000 disciples from 10 unreached people groups in Togo and Benin. There is remarkable growth happening in this movement and a strategic work to continue to grow leadership for the mission is to be able to have the facilities to host the growing number of teams, interns, and mission residents. There is a guest house being built and Phase 2 of the building is currently underway and will cost $175,000 to complete.
Joshua Fund: Rapid Response for Israel in Crisis
The Joshua Fund is a non-profit educational and humanitarian relief organization to bless Israel and Her Neighbors in the name of Jesus, founded by Joel and Lynn Rosenberg. This organization is on the ground in Israel and Palestine delivering food and resources to the needy and the displaced during the war being fought over there.
Compassion International: Global Food Crisis
Effects of the pandemic, severe weather, and the Russia-Ukraine war threaten our world with a global food crisis. Now we’re facing the most severe shortage we’ve seen since World War II — and children living in poverty are the most vulnerable and hardest hit. Local partners of Compassion International are working to stabilize their communities in the short term while providing long-term hunger mitigation – all in Jesus’ name.
